How we met
An aborted Uber pool in 2015. John was running late to a friend's birthday. Maya cancelled the ride. We laughed about it in the rain for forty minutes, and have been laughing about most things ever since.
The decade in summary
Two cities, three apartments, one dog (Pepper), zero kids (deliberate), countless arguments we both forget the cause of within a week.
Why have a party
Because ten years is long enough that you forget who was there at the beginning. We want everyone in one room, especially the people who told us we wouldn't last.
