The Commission
By engaging KokoroLinks ("The Studio"), you agree to these terms. We provide digital invitation hosting, design, and RSVP management services. These terms apply to all tiers: The Link, The Sanctuary, and The Heirloom.
Intellectual Property
Who owns what?
"You own your photos. We own the code and design templates."
Your Content: You retain full ownership of any photos, videos, and text you upload. You grant us a limited license to display this content solely for the purpose of hosting your invitation.
Our Craft: The underlying code, visual templates, "Firefly" animations, and "Password Gate" logic remain the intellectual property of KokoroLinks. You may not extract our source code to host elsewhere.
Payment & Refunds
Standard Tiers: "The Link" and "The Sanctuary" are non-refundable once the website is published to a live URL, as server resources are immediately provisioned.
Heirloom Commissions: Custom work requires a 50% deposit. This deposit becomes non-refundable once design work has commenced (typically 24 hours after booking). The remaining balance is due upon project completion.
Hosting & Retention
Free tier: Each invitation is hosted live for 1 year from its publish date, then moved to a 1-year read-only archive (still viewable, marked as archived). At the end of the archive year, the invitation and its associated photos are permanently deleted. You will receive an email warning 60 days before deletion, with the option to download a static export of your invitation or upgrade to a paid tier to keep it live.
Personal and Pro tiers: Hosted while your subscription is active. If you cancel, your invitations enter a 90-day grace period during which you can re-subscribe with zero data loss. After 90 days, invitations and photos are permanently deleted. Email reminders are sent at 30, 60, and 89 days post-cancellation.
Concierge service: Hand-designed invitations come with "Forever Hosting", defined as the lifetime of the KokoroLinks service. In the unlikely event of service dissolution, we guarantee to provide you with a static export of your invitation files so you may host them elsewhere.
Self-serve deletion: You may delete your account and all associated invitations at any time from /app/account. Deletions are immediate. Public invitation pages 404 within seconds; underlying photo files are removed from storage within 7 days.
